What to check for this route
Ask which register the training leads to. UKCP describes psychotherapist training as postgraduate, at level 7, usually around four years part-time with about 450 supervised client hours; its psychotherapeutic counsellor route is at Level 5 (UKCP). BACP sets different requirements (BACP).
This course lists 80 sessions of personal therapy outside the fee. See the guide to costs outside the fee and the questions to ask a provider.
